Jean Ellen Sotansky, known by friends as Jeannie, is a local Saratoga Springs artist. Her professional practice started out as strictly oil painting, but has evolved into digital work and large scale murals. Her work can be seen publicly at several restaurants and bars throughout the capital region. Her personal practice is mostly figurative, with saturated colors and patterned filled.
